The oldest and most experienced ski shop in New York City

On-line trip reservations.

What happens to the bus trip if there is bad weather in the forecast?
  • If their is terrible weather and we have determined that it is not safe to travel, we will cancel the trip.  Everyone will get a refund.  It will have to be very nasty or unsafe for to call off a trip.  We notify everyone, by phone and/or email, 24 hrs before departure if we are going to cancel the trip.  Refunds will be issued via the same method that you made payment.
  • In some situations, resorts will offer rain check or credits toward future lift tickets.  Emilio's Ski Shop will work on your behalf to obtain these credits from the resorts and extend them to our customers.  Portions of the trips may not be subject to this, such as the bus transportation.
What happens if I miss the bus?
  • As we run these trips on a tight schedule, and tight budget,  if you miss the bus you will loose your payment.  It's a hard rule.  If you miss the bus on the way back from the resort, you will have to find another ride home.  Please don't miss the bus.  Contact skier services at the resort or us in the shop to let us know the situation.  The bus cannot return to the resort once it has departed.
How do I get a job at Emilio's Ski Shop?
  • We are always looking for qualified and motivated people, both full and part time, that want to help us.  The best thing to do is to come into the shop and visit with us to find out what type of opening we have at the time.  As a seasonal business we are always looking for help at the start of the season.  Our bus trip program need quite a few reliable people that enjoy skiing/riding.  As our trips have many pickup locations, your location is a factor as well.  One of the few guide lines that we use for employment is that you must be one of our customers before you can become an employee.
