Sun Peaks promises fun, excitement and challenge with over 3,600 skiable
acres of champagne powder on 3 mountains, soaring almost 3,000 vertical
feet over a ski-in/ski-out village. Cruise, carve and shred down an
award-winning trail, some steep and bold, some with the best grooming in
the west and some that are the best easy skiing anywhere. All this and
over 2,000 hours of sunshine per year. Earn bragging rights this winter
for skiing British Columbia’s second largest skiable terrain.
With three mountains to choose from, Sun Peaks offers an attractive
balance of skiable terrain, whether it’s Tod Mountain’s open bowls,
Sundances’ perfectly groomed cruisers or Morrisey’s glades.
 Then
there’s our village – slope side, ski-in ski-out accommodations,
restaurants, shops and a cozy village layout. Here, nestled in a
charming, storybook setting, you will find everything you’ll need for
a comprehensive winter vacation experience – just steps away. Stroll
around and feel the magic of a snow crisp, winter clear mountain night.
Savour the feeling of being just a little bit closer to heaven!
Over $300 million have transformed this mountain into a premier
destination resort over the past ten years. At the base of mountain is a
visually stunning village of pedestrian walkways meandering past over 25
boutiques, restaurants and cafes located in the fine slope side hotels.
This is an intimate village, ideal for families.
Tour
the village and surrounding area via horse-drawn sleigh. Relax at the
Sports Centre with outdoor swimming pool and hot tub. Go skating at
night on the lit ice rink or watch your children snowmobile and toboggan
at the Kids Adventure Park. The adventurous can explore the back country
on a full-day cat ski tour or sign up for snowmobiling, dog sledding and
snowshoeing tours or cross country ski action.
It doesn’t have to end here. Wrap up your day with a mid-mountain
international fondue and torchlight descent or dinner at one of many
village restaurants, offering a range from romantic fine dining to soul
food and delectable desserts. Top it all off with a nightcap at one of
the bars. Take it easy one night and eat in; the grocery store and
pizzeria cater to just such occasions. Still raring to go? Try your luck
at family casino night or dance the night away at the centrally located
nightclub. Elevate your senses this winter - at Sun Peaks Resort!
