 Windham
Mountain has completed the largest single year of capital improvements
in its 46 year history. The improvements affected all areas of the
mountain. The finished product is to give guests more time on the
slopes, more terrain to conquer, more off mountain activities, new
dining options, and an overall improved experience at Windham.
New Lifts, skiers and riders will be sure to spend more time on East
Peak now that the G lift triple chair has been replaced with a
high-speed, detachable quad. The C lift has been upgraded with
more modern, comfortable chairs that also covers a longer distance.
New trails, the longest of the three trails is a classic New England intermediate
off of the East Peak that winds it way down the forest and into the greater
trail system. The two other trails, while a bit shorter, have the
same characteristics and will greatly improve access both portions of
the mountain. |

Windham
Mountain at a glance
What's new
Construction workers were very happy at Windham Mountain this past
summer. That’s because the resort kept them busy with the largest
single year of capital improvements in its 46 year history. The result?
Lots of happy guests. This winter you’ll find the following new items
at Windham:
- Three trails – If the resort previously felt
like two distinct areas before, it doesn’t any more. The bowl
between Wraparound and Wicked now has some great new terrain, tying
together the trail network into a much more cohesive experience. And
of course all this new terrain sports state-of-the-art snowmaking
equipment.
- Three lifts – The G lift triple chair has been
replaced with a high-speed, detachable quad. Repositioning of the
top and bottom stations, as well as lift towers, will make for a
better flow. The C lift has been upgraded to a more modern,
comfortable triple chair and is also slightly relocated to suit
users better. A new carpet lift has also been added to the learning
area.
